POLAROID MEMORIES #1

Hey everyone!

So a while ago I got an ask.fm message suggesting I post about things I adore/glimpses into my life and this is probably the best representation of that! My Polaroid is something that I couldn't imagine not having, each photo having a nostalgic, clean and vintage feel.
They have made an appearance on my Instagram every once in a while and I honestly don't even know why I haven't done post like this in the past. (So cheers to that anon for the suggestion! ^_^)
Anyway, these are Polaroids that have been taken in 2015 so far and are in no particular order. I had so much fun putting this together and it's pretty cool to see how my year has progressed!
I am currently waiting for the holidays to come around, though at the same time I am dreading all the work due before that point, so really I am this brain-dead mess at the moment.

THIS IS THE START OF HOW IT ALL ENDS

Hello friends!

It's nearing the end of 2014 (two hours left, holy) and I thought I'd make a collection of some photos I've taken thoughout December. I feel like I am leaving behind a bittersweet year and am ready (kind of) to move on to the new one! 

I wish you all a happy 2015 and I hope it's full of new opportunities and adventures!

FAIRY LIGHTS

Hello everyone! 

So this is moreso an artistic set of photos rather than an outfit post today, featuring one of my favourite things, fairy lights. I've always had this penchant for fairy lights (..actually who hasn't?) and how magical they appear, especially in photos. Due to yesterday's rainy weather, Fiona and I resorted in an indoor location (her house) with a spontaneous decision of entangling myself in fairy lights since she's been revamping her room.

How has everyone been? Christmas is so close!
I'l be up with a normal outfit post very soon :)

VAUCLUSE & CRONULLA PHOTO DIARY

Hey everyone! 

So, remember where I mentioned setting an alarm for 4:15am in my last post? Well, these beauties of mother nature was what I was preparing myself for. Vaucluse at sunset and Cronulla at sunrise. It was so worth it and I'm not sure if my photos did the scenery justice. 

I traveled by bus and train to meet my friend Sam at the train station, then head off onto another bus to Cronulla Beach. Funnily, the Cronulla photos were from the sunrise (I would've sorted the photos to be Cronulla then Vaucluse but I already put Vaucluse first in the title photo before I realised eep!) and it was just a beautiful dark orange creeping up from the horizon at first light, and then the sky faded to it's light blue as the sun rose. There were people swimming in the ocean at 5am (it's the middle of winter!) and I honestly wish I was brave enough to jump into the ocean during sunrise too! 

The wait for the sunset (9am-3pm) was spent at my friend Fiona's house, where we basically mucked around for 6 hours, until we had to leave again to head towards Vaucluse. 

Unfortunately, there were clouds blocking the sun so we could only catch a bit of it that peeked out from the clouds. The sky faded slowly from light blue to dark, but oh my gosh, the bay we were at (Shark Bay) was so so nice. It was this small beach that had greeny blue water and sadly I didn't have appropriate clothing or else I would've jumped into the water, though it is actually the perfect beach to visit when the weather gets warmer! Also, how awesome is that sandcastle? It was built upon some rocks at the far side of the bay! 

Anyway I hope you all enjoyed seeing these photos because I sure did enjoy taking photos and witnessing it!
