.: plaid skort, paper heart | creepers, eBay :.
wearing: manic panic lipstick in the shade raven

HELLO! Sorry for the absence, but school work has been a total pain in the a** and that's basically it.

I am really glad about these skorts. I must say I have been looking on every single online store to find the perfect tartan print and, nothing. After like weeks of searching, I found these skorts when I was least expecting it in a small store in Market City. It was even on the sale rack and it was $15! Much to my dismay the red tartan was two sizes too big or else I would've bought that one too!! I am so in love with these though.

I finally chopped of a bunch of my hair, it was getting to the point where my ends were dead no matter if I shampoo'ed and conditioned or even added argan oil to my hair; getting a cut has freaking revitalised it and now I find myself subconsciously running my fingers through my hair because it feels so damn healthy.
Also, with the new snip came with a new hairstyle that I love at the moment! I feel like it's one of those hairstyles that I'd be iffy about wearing out, mainly because I never go along with fancy hairstyles for more than one wear, but I hope it'll be different this time.

I had so much fun with this shoot! It all started with a walk in the direction of the Sydney Fish Markets and then stopping at the car parking area being all like, "I really need to sit or lie down right here" spontaneously and then coming across a parked truck later on and applying the same spontaneity from the aforementioned situation. I am really happy about these.

(this is such a loaded post, I had a lot to say)

I hope you all have a lovely week and weekend!
Ciao for now,

.: dress, princess polly | sandals, lipstik | earrings, diva :.
This dress is the raddest thing I've ever worn, unfortunately it's not mine (I borrowed it off my friend Effat to make this outfit post, thank you if you read this!) but I had to make an outfit post about it.
I have an obsession with iridescent things and I don't know about you but I never see much of it in clothing pieces (probably because it's an expensive to make and it's uncomfortable); nevertheless I hope this dress is finally the calling for more iridescence in future.
Nothing much has happened to me recently except for school, but something that has gotten me through these crap times is the Inland album by Jars of Clay. It is so damn good and the lyrics of the songs are nice on their own as well!!
This reminds me, I am so excited for the Kodaline concert I'm going to on the 2nd of April! Still far but it's definitely something I'm looking forward to. :)
Anyway, I hope you all have a lovely week,
Ciao for now,

.: top, valleygirl | jeans, vintage | heels, windsor smith :.

I'm kind of loving the heels and jean combo, something I think I'll be doing more often in my 20s.
I'm not sure what else to say on this blog post, but the most recent news for me is that I just had a 2 hour nap and I don't feel my best, and I want to go back to sleep. But you know, school work calls and I pretty much have to do some of it before the night ends or it'll pile up and I'll be a huge ball of stress.

It's also been such a long time since I've properly bought clothing that my wishlist is also piling up, the problem with this is I can't find any of these items or they're really nice NON-versatile pieces that I can probably only wear with simple bottoms/simple tops. Anywhoo, I think I am just needing some retail therapy because man, life kinda sucks at times like this that I think some wardrobe love would be really nice.

I hope you all have a great week!
Stay well and keep smilin',

Oh hey y'all,
I am in love with this cropped shirt I snagged off eBay (and can I just say, eBay is wondrous, you find the best things on there if you look well, and I am guilty for buying most of my clothes off there.. it's cheap though.) and it was only $7! I love the neckline and of course the back cut-outs, I think it'll be a gem to mix and match with other clothing items so I can't wait to see what I can do with it!

I am writing this paragraph at 2am right now, and I think there is something comforting about being up at ungodly hours because it makes me feel accomplished that I have properly lived my whole day.
Sleeping at 9-10 is strange for me because it is like blanking out important parts of my life, and I consider the late hours important because I have had some of my best moments at those times. Times of lightbulb ideas, times of talking to certain individuals; opening up to them about things I wouldn't usually say in the light of day. And they are just times when I really feel every inch of emotion contained in my body, even if sometimes it means I am crying to let it all out. They are times when the night is silent and I can hear every single beat to the songs I am listening to, and I suddenly appreciate them so much more. Late nights are quite special.

Sorry, that was like a major sidetrack, but I hope you are all having a fabulous week!
Stay well and keep smiling :)
